Whoa. TOTALLY unreliable, I know. Must write more.
I’ve got about 10 posts swirling inside my head, the first of which is a declaration of intent or Why I Post. Too much to make happen with kids banging in and out of the house and SO much cleaning up to do after weeks and weeks of home improvement.
For now, this quip from Ben:
Ben: “Mom, are you going to put a little exercise area in there?”
[he is referring to the newly opened space in the middle of our basement]
Sara: “Yeah.”
Ben: “You should put a nacho stand in there.”

Sounds like a great idea to me! Especially if it is done before the 21st!
Oh, this made me laugh. What a brilliant idea, Ben! Everyone loves nachos!
I’ve been waiting for another post, stalking your domain name nightly for a new slice of Sara’s life, and I was JUST about to nag, so I’m sated and utterly bemused by this post!
Oh and by the way…now this preggo woman is salivating over the idea of nachos, and it’s far too late for a trip into Manhattan for the ones I love. Thanks for that. 🙂
Um…the little time posted thingie is on Pacific time. I would certainly go out for nachos in Manhattan at 7:38pm, but 10:38 is pushing it.
Nachos in an exercise area. That is brilliant. And hilarious. Well … if there are margaritas in the nacho bar area….
Yes, I think Josh and I will do that in the new condo! We love a good nacho fix!
Can we have an MJ dance party down there, so we can dance to “I Want You Back” like in college days? 🙂
Speaking of the unwritten, head-swirling posts, and our conversation about what to post, I read a book a couple of weeks ago that was really good and helpful: The Courage to Write, by Ralph Keyes. All about how writers deal with fear. This is an entirely selfish post, because I love reading your blog and I’m hoping that reading this book leads to more posting!
