Oh, do I love a travelogue. And such a well-written one, well I just devoured it. Let me quote Dwight Garner from the New York Times, who so ably put words to my feelings: “The cumulative welling up I experienced during Wild was partly a response to that too infrequent sigh: that of a writer finding her voice, and sustaining it, right in front of your eyes….Riveting.” Indeed.
