By Kate Mayfield. What a wonderful read. Mayfield gives her reader the gift of total honesty, detailed recall, and charming, wry writing. Stories of growing up in funeral home, loving and honest memories of her flawed and charismatic father, and gimlet-eyed observations about small town life in the 1960s and 70s. I LOVED this book.
