Wife-In-Law

There’s something engaging about Haywood Smith’s writing style:  breezy, light, swift.  It was what I needed on a Sunday when I felt like all I could do was lie in bed and read. Diverting.  But the last third of this book had so much crazy stuff happen in it, and the ending was so nuts that I felt let down.  Like Smith had a deadline she rushed to meet.  Ah well.  All I wanted to be was diverted.
