Landline by Rainbow Rowell

Georgie decides to skip the family trip with husband Neal and daughters back to Omaha to stay and polish scripts for her new show.  She discovers a landline at her childhood home that allows her to talk to her husband before they got married and revisit the beginnings of their relationship and commitment.  I just didn’t feel this one.  It didn’t have the lively vibe of Eleanor and Park although Rowell’s ear for dialogue would make HER a good television writer.
