Heads In Beds

Heads In Beds:  A Reckless Memoir of Hotels, Hustles, and So-Called Hospitality by Jacob Tomsky.  Some juicy stories about working in the hospitality industry but mostly ranting about how annoying customers and management are.  Tomsky acknowledges that he has become hardened by so much time in the industry but he doesn’t seem to feel bad about basically saying everyone is an asshole. Tomsky worked as a valet and front desk in New Orleans and at the front desk in New York City.  I liked the beginning because I learned a lot about the inner workings of a hotel but by the second half of the book I was tired of the same front desk stories and it felt mostly like ranting.
