This was a fun, compelling read.  Maddie is a spoiled heiress who finds herself in rural Scotland towards the end of World War 2 while he angry, narcissistic husband tries to regain his reputation and fortune by finding the Loch Ness Monster.

Sweet Forgiveness

Ugh.  Yuk. The use of sexual abuse as part of the story line seemed shallow, almost exploitative.  Bleh.
