The Wangs Vs. The World

meh.  i just didn’t care about these people and didn’t find their journey or predicament very interesting which surprised me — the outline of the story sounded so interesting.  the only thing i liked about the entire book was how much the father loved his children.  charming.

Golden Girl

Very uneven writing.  Only the most avid swim fan could follow it.  But I persisted to glean insight into the world of competitive swimming and training.  Ugh.
